Troubleshooting installing SolidCAM license manager

When having problems with installation of SolidCAM license manager, please follow these steps:

  1. Restart the computer. (Very important step! Restarts the service which solves most of the problems.)
  2. Make sure you are logged in as administrator.
  3. Make sure that your windows is up to date. If it is not please install all pending updates and restart.
  4. If you have a SolidCAM USB hardware key, please disconnect it.
  5. Disable any anti-virus software installed on the computer. (You can enable it after the license manager installation is complete)
  6. Download the license manager installation tool from https://sentinel.solidcam.com/downloads/driver_clean_install.zip
  7. Extract the zip file to a folder of your choice.
  8. Open the extracted files, and run "install.bat"
  9. To check if the license manager was installed properly, open http://localhost:1947 (Internet connection not required)
  10. If the license manager is still not installed properly, delete the following file C:\Windows\System32\hasplms.exe and go back to step # 7.
  11. If the license manager is still not installed properly, install the license manager from this link https://sentinel.solidcam.com/downloads/Sentinel_LDK_Run-time_setup.zip
