Transferring a license activation to another computer @ SolidCAM

To transfer your SolidCAM activation to another computer, you need to follow 3 steps:

1. Create a fingerprint of the New computer.

   New computer is the computer that is receiving the license. To create the fingerprint, follow these steps:

   1. Open the "License wizard" from "Start->All Programs->SolidCAM->Software license". Example
   2. Open the tab "Transfer license". Example
   3. Click the button Generate fingerprint and select where you want to save the file. Example

2. Generate the license transfer file at the Old Computer.

   After you generated the fingerprint, you need to copy it to the Old Computer(that has the license) and generate the license trasnfer file. To generate it, follow these steps:

   1. Open the "License wizard" from "Start->All Programs->SolidCAM->Software license". Example
   2. Open the tab "Transfer license". Example
   3. Select the option "Another computer". Example
   4. Click the button"Select fingerprint file" and locate the fingerprint file of the New computer(.id). Example
   5. Click "Transfer license" and select where you want to save the file. Example

3. Install the license transfer file at the New computer.

   After you generated the license transfer file, you need to install it on the New computer. To install it, follow these steps:

   1. Open the "License wizard" from "Start->All Programs->SolidCAM->Software license". Example
   2. Open the tab "Transfer license". Example
   3. Click the button "Activate license" and select the H2H file. Example

*New computer = Computer that is receiving the license.
*Old Computer = Computer that is releasing the license.
